Change At The Top

Coming up on my 2 and a half year mark at my current association I face what I see as a second big challenge, the departure of a second Executive Director.  About a month ago the current Executive Director announced he would be leaving in mid August to accept the same position at another association.  Even with the experience of going through this type of transition once before, it feels like you can never prepare enough.  Over my next few posts I will dive into what I see as important goals and things to focus on when going through an Executive Director transition.
